Full Name: Hyuuga Hinata. Have you happened to notice that everyone in the Hyuuga family have names that begin with 'H' excluding Neji who thinks he's special by having his name start with an N. Then, everyone in the Hyuuga family has black hair but Hinata has blue hair but this is about names, not hair. Age: Hinata, like Kiba, is twelve. Also like Kiba, she acts her age unlike all the angsty people who act like they're old. Sometimes, actually, she seems to act a lot younger than she actually is and tends to LOOK it too.
Personality: Hinata is the opposite of all the other appointed girls on each team. The other girls are loud and obnoxious and obsess over Sasuke. In short, Hinata is not shallow which is apparently difficult to come across in a girl in the world of Naruto.
Speaking of Naruto, Hinata also has a secret crush on him. Why? Because she's not shallow. All the other girls hate Naruto just because he's Naruto but Hinata likes him.
Style: Hinata and the rest of her team wears a heavy overcoat even though it may be warm outside. Then again, it may NOT be warm out. When she's not in her heavy overcoat, she wears a light blue long-sleeved shirt. We've also seen her in the generic Hyuuga outfit that every Hyuuga seems to be supplied with.
Family: We could go on for the longest time about Hinata's messed up family so we'll try to keep in short. Hinata is part of the Hyuuga clan which is a very old Konoha clan and supposedly the most powerful. Hinata's dad's name is Hiashi and he had a brother named Hizashi. They were twins, but put into different houses; the Main House and the Branch House. The Branch House people get curse seals and have to protect the Main House.
SO ANYWAY, because her father is in the Main House, Hinata is also in the Main House. However, she didn't inherit the blood limit very strongly so she kind of failed at becomming a good heir to the Hyuuga house. So her little sister, Hanabi, seemingly took on that role even though she's five years younger than Hinata. Since Hinata is in the Main House, this makes her cousin, Neji, hate her because he's stuck in the Branch House and his father, Hizashi, got killed instead of Hiashi.
Academy Life: Knowing Hinata's personality, she was probably very quiet in the academy, always looking over Naruto. Hinata also had a reputation as a quitter so that can ONLY mean that she didn't do too well while in the academy too. I doubt she was as stupid as Kiba, though, and never sprang up in the middle of class and tried to get out. She probably watched him and Naruto do it and just... I don't know... loved them both.
While at the academy, Hinata sat next to some random kid without a name. On the other side of her, there was an isle going in between the tables. Then, right next to the isle was Kiba! I bet Kiba sat himself there so he could be next to Hinata since he loves her and all.
Abilities: Hinata doesn't have very many special abilities. The only things she can really do is the Gentle Fist fighting style and the Byakugan. But that's not all THAT special considering every Hyuuga in the entire world can do that.
One thing that puzzles me, though, is why Hinata can't do the Heavenly Spin that Neji just sort of taught himself. Hiashi was going on about how that move is passed down in the Main House but why doesn't Hinata know it? Perhaps she's much more unpowerful than we ORIGINALLY assumed, like maybe they TRIED to teach it to her but she failed.
Love Interests: Hinata's REAL love interest is Naruto. It's quite obvious that she's crushing over him because she's always sighing and looking at him and helping him cheat and other things. However, we have decided that it's much more fitting for her to be in love with Kiba. Even though she isn't REALLY, we can pretend to see hints that she is. Like when she gave him the medicine!! Sure... sure she gave Naruto medicine too and she gave it to him FIRST but... no. She loves Kiba.
Rivalry: The closest rival Hinata has is Neji. But she's not a very good rival with him considering he is infiniately more powerful than she can ever hope to be. And I doubt she's going around trying to pump herself up just so she can defeat Neji. Maybe it's more... Hinata is Neji's rival but Neji isn't Hinata's rival, if that makes any sense at all.
Hinata frolics off to the tournament so she can see Naruto beat up Neji. Unfortunately for her, she dies before she can see it. Well, she doesn't REALLY die but she comes awfully close! But poor Hinata. She just wanted to see Naruto fight Neji. BUt did you notice that she went to the tournament WITH KIBA?!?! It's because she loves him.
